IC
Name: Bellatrix Lestrange
Age/Birthday: 14th August 1951, 25
House/Year Graduated: Slytherin, graduated in 1969
Blood Status: Pureblood
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Personality:
Bellatrix was brought up in a traditional pureblood family. As a Black she was taught to be better than everyone else, which led her to be extremely arrogant. As well, she is cold, impolite, rude and harsh. To most, she expects nothing less than respect, and she will take actions to demand. To those who treat her as she believes she deserves she tolerates them, to an extent. It is only very rare (meaning only to a few individuals) when she would truly act in a way akin to friendliness. In these occasions she can be somewhat caring and above all loyal.
In many ways Bella is a wild and passionate person. She holds nothing back in life. She is extremely impatient and hates waiting around. She sees no reason to, and as such prefers to take action. In this way she is an extremely energetic and outgoing person who would rarely be found sitting around relaxing. If she does something and truly believes in it, she would be determined to do whatever needs to be done. She expresses her views passionately and fights for them if there is even a slight threat to them. As unladylike as her mother may see her actions she does not care and is rarely discrete, she sees no reasons why she should be, as everyone should follow her views anyway. She easily jumps to conclusions if it's about an issue she is passionate about and will stubbornly hold these view even if she is wrong. This has led many to label her as mad because she seems to not be able to control her emotions.
Bella lives her life to the extreme, like every day would be her last. She is carefree and does whatever she wants to and is almost never obedient; the only thing that would stop her would be an order from her master. In this way she is extremely independent and despises anyone who would offer her help and worst of all when she would need to accept that help.
As well, she is harsh and cruel. She shows no mercy to most and thinks that, like her, if they get into a situation then they should be able to get out of it. She also has a sadistic streak as she takes pleasure in exercising her power over others. She has always been this way and has always wanted to be in control of a situation and putting her victim under a curse is the best way to do that. This pleasure is increased if she has a real reason to do this; including punishing traitors and torturing muggleborns. In fact she has more than once said such activities are a stress relief.
Though as bold and indiscrete as she is, she remains a Slytherin. She is actually rather intelligent (if she sees it worth the time to put the effort in) and cunning. She would do whatever it takes to get what she wants and is normal able to find a way to do it.
Furthermore, ever since she was young she was skilled at magic, duelling in particular. She found it exhilarating as she was able to perform magic, be energetic and being able to dominate others in something she was naturally skilled at. In fact such feelings soon evolved to much magic in general. Especially the Dark Arts which drew her like a moth to a flame. In her family they never had much of a stigma and when she researched them she found an area with a wealth of information. They allowed her to have a distinct advantage in any confrontation she faced. Bellatrix quickly found that there was no other better form of magic
History:
Bellatrix was born the eldest daughter of her family. It led her to control both her sisters, and she was always the leader in any of their childish games. When she started Hogwarts she became distant from both her sisters. Andromeda in particular, who, when she later went to Hogwarts, viewed her elder sister as cruel - especially in her treatment of muggleborns. This was made worse when Bella heard of her sister’s sympathy for mudbloods, making Bella label her as a blood traitor even before she had officially fled the family.
On the other hand, being four years younger than her, Bellatrix always viewed Narcissa as an annoying little girl. But, by Narcissa's fifth year, her little sister had grown up and they began to become closer as Narcissa grew. Now, while Narcissa may not always approve of her unrestrained nature, and there is friction because of the Dark Lord, they still care for each other dearly.
Bella always viewed her mother as an annoyance. Everything Bellatrix did not want to be her mother represented, being only a wife and mother (in Bella's view anyway). These negative feelings only increased as she grew and her mother kept pestering her about marriage and later to have children.
However her relationship with her father is the opposite. Bella had always admired him, and wanted to be like him. This attitude made her participate in traditionally 'male' pursuits, such as duelling. Her father, for his part, was proud of his daughter’s achievements in these areas, seeing her as the closest he could get to a male heir.
At age eleven, like all children, she entered Hogwarts. Throughout Hogwarts she was an intelligent student, though not passionate about her education. She did little study in anything she was not interested or viewed as useless. Generally this led her to excel in more practical subjects.
Being a traditional Black many viewed her as arrogant, specifically those less than pure blood. She quickly found her niche in Slytherin, with a group of those who shared her ideas. Rodolphus Lestrange was one of them. Among the many relationships she had at school he was one. In fact they dated more than once. In some ways it was serious and Rodolphus certainly viewed it that way. Not wanting to be tied down, at that point in her life, she ended their relationship.
Her true passion became the pureblood cause. After hearing about the Death Eaters Bella became obsessed and determined to join them, even going so far as clipping articles out the Prophet every day. Her uncle Rosier (Evan Rosier's father) hearing about it, introduced her to the Dark Lord. She was obsessed straight away, and determined to prove herself, which she did, finding her place amongst the mostly male group. After a while her admiration for him became more than what she should have felt for her master.
Bella knows such feelings could never be reciprocated. Recognising this fact she decided to marry. Remaining close to Rodolphus during this time, being a fellow Death Eater, she began to pursue him. Being reasonably fond of him, and him being everything she could want in a husband: loyal to the cause, pureblood, handsome, etc she married him. She never grew to love him, but in some ways she does care for him.
As the years went by Bellatrix continued to serve as a Death Eater. Her reputation as a loyal and dangerous follower increased, and so did her worth as a Death Eater. More and more, her work became the principle element in her life, something that will no doubt increase as time passes by.
Occupational History:
Socialite and Death Eater. Rodolphus once said that she was a house wife, but after the curse she threw at him he never suggested such a thing again. Even though she was raised to be the perfect socialite she has no patience for such activities. She used to be very good at acting as the perfect pureblood woman, but now, she rarely bothers to act that way. On the other hand her feelings towards being a Death Eater are the complete opposite. She adores the challenge and the fight of her work for the Dark Lord. Above all she takes pleasure in serving her Lord and would do anything he says with pleasure
Appearance:
Bella has an imposing appearance and presence. She is tall with thick dark hair that she can do very little with and often just hangs curly and slightly wild. She has dark eyes that can be frightening if you are not friendly with her (which is most people).
As well as this, after serving her Lord she has a few scars over her body from various duels. To Bella they are not a worry, only a sign of her devotion to the Dark Lord. Of course on her left forearm is the Dark Mark. Some may see it as frightening or ugly, but to Bella it is her favourite feature.
Generally she dresses in the traditional pureblood clothes; often of darker colours, though she does have a slight weakness for a deep purple. However, like most of the rest of her appearance, her looks are no longer her priority, certainly not like her sister.
Desired PB: Olivia Wilde

Any plans for this character in-game?
I love Bella, and her character has always fascinated me. For many reasons including her fanatical loyalty and strength. In this game I can see her becoming very frustrated with the situation as. Bella in particular, would hate to be in a situation outside of her control. As is expected I can see her interacting with all the Blacks (which would be very fascinating to play her with her parents of different ages and even Alpharad and especially Tonks), the Death Eaters, the Order, no matter how old they are at the time. Possibly, if the situation requires it, I can see her trying to rekindle the Death Eater movement even harming muggleborns. If she receives repercussions from the wizard that would be great to.
